Before you ask, yes, Gabriele Tarquini did manage to save this during the British Touring Car Championship in 1994. He would win the driver's championship thanks to seriously committed driving and revolutionary (for the BTCC) aero. Not too sure that was working in the above shot, video after the jump.

I approve of your love of BTCC, I recently rediscovered it after a couple seasons and am wondering why I ever stopped watching.

It's definitely a favourite of mine, i especially like that the coverage includes some other high quality racing like ginetta and carrera cup so you get a full days motorsport.
